We will be presenting our revolutionary technology at the ASCB | EMBO 2018 in San Diego on Monday December 10th (4:15-5:15 pm, Theater 1) where we will introduce our technology and its implications for live cell research. Please see the abstract below.
Visit us at booth #528 between Dec 8 – 12 to discuss about label-free live cell imaging.
LABEL-FREE 3D ANALYSIS OF ORGANELLES IN LIVING CELLS BY REFRACTIVE INDEX, AT HIGH TEMPORAL AND SPATIAL RESOLUTION.
Long-term imaging of fine dynamics of cellular organelles is today’s biggest challenge in cell biology (1-4).
Nanolive’s 3D Cell Explorer allows for the creation of powerful 3D images and 4D time-lapses of living cells, even the most sensitive (e.g. stem cells) up to weeks in a non-invasive way and with high spatio-temporal resolution (x,y:180nm; z:400nm; t:1.7sec). These properties allow for unprecedented live imaging of subcellular organelles such as mitochondria, lipid droplets, nuclear membrane, nucleus, nucleoli, chromosomes, plasma membrane, lysosomes, etc. Furthermore, the 3D Cell Explorer allows to follow in unprecedented ways the dynamics of mitochondria, lipid droplets as well as that of endocytic structures in live cells over long period of time, which led to observe to the researchers knowledge for the first time, a global organelle spinning occurring before mitosis (5).
