Tasty liver cells

Discover your liver like never before with the 3D Cell Explorer.

The liver is the heaviest organ within the body and it serves several very important functions. It is responsible for many processes such as breaking down toxic compounds, synthesizing blood proteins and controlling the sugar level in the blood. It is also responsible for the production of bile which emulsifies dietary fat allowing it to be digested. During this experiment, the students will be able to isolate and observe the cells that make up this organ with STEVE.
